A Bedroom Designed to Grow with Her
Children’s bedrooms should be more than just places to sleep.
They should encourage imagination, support learning and give children a space that truly feels like their own.
Our brief was to create a bedroom that reflected Louis’ personality while providing different areas for the activities she loved most. Every decision was centred around making the room feel personal, uplifting and practical for everyday life.
Colour became one of the key design tools throughout the project.
Inspired by her favourite colours, we introduced bold colour blocking to define different areas within the room. Rather than simply decorating the walls, colour was carefully used to create a sense of structure, subtly highlighting spaces for studying, reading, relaxing and playing.
The result is a room that feels both playful and organised.
A cosy reading corner encourages quiet moments with a favourite book, while a dedicated study area provides a calm place for homework and creativity. Each zone has its own purpose, yet together they create one harmonious space that feels balanced and full of character.
Throughout the design, we embraced bright colours with confidence, carefully balancing them with softer tones and thoughtful styling to ensure the room would remain timeless as she grows.
This project perfectly reflects our belief that children’s spaces should celebrate individuality.
By listening carefully to what Louis loved, we created a bedroom that feels joyful, comforting and uniquely hers—a space where she can learn, dream and simply enjoy being a child.
